Nothing new this week. I finally played some spooky games that I will talk about in the future, but this week I am making stickers and selling them to be MEGA rich. This week is Sticky Business.
Sticky Business is a business sim game from Spellgarden Games and published by Assemble Entertainment. The game will release for the PC sometime in 2023.
Make stickers, print stickers, pack stickers and make money. Use that money to buy sticker templates on the internet and upgrades to your business. In the Sticky Business demo, the player gets a small tease of what the full game will have. You have the ability to choose from a wide range of stickers to create whatever your heart desires and name the product that you have made. You are then able to print said sheets and promptly fill orders as they come in.

The current selection of stickers is super cute and there are so many of them that it really does provide a lot of options when considering what kind of sticker to create.
As orders come in, buyers will give you a small hint about what kind of sticker to make next. I had one customer inform me that they like mushrooms, which inspired me to create my own sticker. It is a nice little tactic to inform the player that customers have wants that will drive business.
Packing stickers is a fun minigame within the game itself. You have a separate screen that has options for what color of base tissue paper to use and what kind of packing filler to use. It’s a nice touch that allows for a more personal aspect for the player.

Each action takes a small amount of time and so being able to do everything in one day is possible within the demo, but I imagine that creating, printing, packing, and going to the post office is not going to be doable with the full game.
Sticky Business chose the pixel art route and it really fits the game. Sticky Business is a very colorful video game and the stickers are equally beautiful.
Cozy music for a cozy video game. It is in fact a great pair.
Sticky Business is another one of those video games like Planet of Lana, where you play the demo and know that the game is going to be an absolute hit and I feel this way with Sticky Business. It is a sim with an interesting premise that has enough creative aspects to carry the game’s replayability into eternity. I sat down with my wife to play and we had a blast making and packing the stickers we made.
IT’S JUST A FUN VIDEO GAME.
